Last week was very busy (technically 2 weeks ago). Thursday was Football 101 where women are invited to a dinner, drink and fun night to learn more about football and ask any questions they might have. It was really fun to help plan and set up. Saturday was the annual Kick-off Cookout for North Texas Athletics and a lot of my blood, sweat and tears...well maybe not tears but lots of sweat for sure was put into making everything happen. It took all week preparing everything but Friday and Saturday (Aug 1 and 2) we put up tables, 300 some chairs and I even got to drive the 2008 Lexus IS250 that the athletic department is raffling off. All-in-all the event turned out to be a big hit, even through the 106 degree heat. After it was over the employees went out for a little R&R.
